Who I am

This site is run by Justin Ryan, a sole proprietor doing business as Backroom OC in Orange County, California. "I" and "me" below mean Justin Ryan.

What I collect

The only personal information I collect is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional), what you are interested in, and your message. I do not run accounts, logins, or payments on this site.

How the form data is used

When you submit the form, your message is sent to me as a private Telegram message through Telegram's bot service, so Telegram processes it in transit. I use it only to reply to you and to scope the work you asked about. I do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising.

Analytics, cookies, and third parties

This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies. It loads only these things from outside its own domain:

  • Google Fonts files (fonts.gstatic.com), for the page typography. Google may receive your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches them.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the site and may log standard request data (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations.

Your browser's local storage is used to remember your light/dark theme choice. That stays on your device and is never sent to me.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiry messages for as long as they are useful for the conversation or an ongoing project, and delete them on request.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you can ask what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, and ask me not to sell or share it (I do not sell or share it). To make a request, use the contact form and say it is a privacy request. I will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, I will update the date above.
