A real website. Built by hand.
You own the code, the domain, everything.

I don't use page builders or WordPress, and there is no "upgrade your plan" tier. I write HTML and CSS, the actual languages of the web, and hand you the keys. The site runs on your own free Cloudflare account, so there is no hosting bill from me.

What you actually own

Most website builders bury this in fine print. Here's the full list, plain.

The code

Hand-delivered as a ZIP file. HTML, CSS, images, fonts. Open in any text editor. No proprietary format.

The domain

Registered in your name. You get the login. I'm not the admin. You control where it points.

All passwords

Your Cloudflare account (where the site is hosted), the domain registrar, email, every credential is yours. Nothing is locked behind my account.

Your copy, your call

You get the code as a ZIP and all the logins. I keep a backup only if you want me to. I don't sell data, and there's no "client portal" holding your site hostage.

Case study: 405 Tropical Fish

Single page Photo-led design 33-year family business Launching soon

405 Tropical Fish is a family-owned neighborhood aquarium shop in Westminster, CA, and it has been a 33-year family business at the same location. They needed a website that looked like the shop does, rows of lit tanks with prices written on the glass, not a generic pet-store template.

I built it as one long page, not a multi-page site. It has a hero with the shop's photos, the family's story, what's in the tanks (freshwater fish, live plants, shrimp and inverts, supplies and food), a section on the handwritten prices, and a visit section with hours, parking, and the address. The page carries local business schema (a PetStore listing with address, hours, and the nearby cities they serve) so search engines and AI assistants can read it.

The design is photo-led, with bold storefront colors, and a few Thai touches that reflect the family. No contact-us-for-a-quote wall: the phone number and hours are on the page.

The site is built and launching soon. I'll add the link and real results here once it's live, not before.

People find businesses through ChatGPT now

Google is no longer the only place people look. They ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI search tools, and those tools read your site differently than Google does.

AI search engines favor clear, conversational copy and structured data (the invisible code that tells a machine what your business is). Every site I build ships with LocalBusiness schema, Service schema, FAQPage schema where applicable, and plain-language meta descriptions, all the things that help a machine know you're a real plumbing company in Newport Beach, not a directory listing.

Your site won't just rank on Google. It'll show up when someone asks "find me a plumber in Orange County" on ChatGPT.
